- I went to see [[The Flaming Lips]] (one of my favorite bands) last night. It was the first time that I have seen them since I started getting into [[sound synthesis]]. It was like hearing them again for the first time. I would hear something and think about how to reproduce it. I would look toward the (primary) synth guy when I knew that a [[vocoder]] part was coming up. etc. - I am pulling out my second edition copy of [[Make Electronics by Charles Platt]] to start on some fundamentals.
